Ahhh Saturateds. An old friend. Our Saturated series is a long running Double IPA series with a fairly simple, but incredibly impactful, premise - single hopped Double IPAs in our house DIPA style.
This really allows one to experience and evaluate the individuality and beauty of a single hop.
All the base recipes are the same, and we select the best versions of the hop variety we are using to really let it shine on a big stage.
In more recent years we have played around with melding our Saturated process with similar beers from other great breweries to create some epic releases. E.g Saturated in Gold Tops and Plenty Saturated.
In terms of the Saturated brand, our Saturated aesthetic is influenced by Kazmir Malevich art. Malevich was really known for his brilliant use of bold, block colour which really helped stimulate the senses directly without relying on a narrative context. The focus then becomes the emotion, and the feeling that that visual soundscape invokes. A notion we want to emulate by concentrating on one hop to its maximum.
