This is a mixed fermentation beer refermented on raspberries. The base blend was moderately acidic and with minimal oak character to let the raspberries show themselves. The fruit itself brings heady fresh fruit and lifts the beer with more acidity. The finish is quick, clean and dry.
1 x 375ml Leckhampton Hill Mixed Fermentation Ale With Elderflower 5.9% 2022
A beer for the local elderflowers to manifest their heady perfume power. Big aroma of elderflower and sherbet lemon up front, leading into flavours of fresh grass and grapefruit. The finish is bone dry with long soft oak tannin. An oak aged mixed fermentation ale with locally foraged elderflower.
1 x 375ml Birdlip Hill Mixed Fermentation Ale With Cherries 5.6% 2022
This beer was brewed with wheat, fermented and conditioned with a mixed culture of yeast and bacteria, and then aged in oak barrels for 1 year. It was then re-fermented with cherries for ten weeks.
This beer gets better with age so we've bundled 3 bottles all from the vintage 2022. We'd love to hear your thoughts on the differences in flavour.
